bwg poem: whirl of worlds

Step through this blue door.
I will be there to take
you from this world to mine.

“She wandered by accident through a portal into the hollow of his heart and led him into the light.” (The Memory of Love, 362)
“I know now what she was to me–the first glimpse of a space-bridge, a wormhole, a galactic portal of this bound and blind planet. She had seen other words and held the lineage of other words, spectacularly in the vessel of her black body.” (Between the World and Me, 58)
